Friend's Day 2023 with Monaliiku

If in many parts of the world, February 14th celebrates romantic love, in Finland, we interpret it differently. Here, Valentine's Day is known as Ystävänpäivää - or Friend's Day.
It means that everyone is included: friends of course but also family, neighbours, colleagues and lovers. Everyone receive cards, flowers and/or chocolate!
For Friend's Day 2023, Monaliiku was invited in the Roihuvuori Service Center where many activities were proposed to the visitors and residents of the center for this special occasion.
Nail polish, relaxation spot, music performances, they had everything!
As a non-profit organization that promotes multicultural women's health and well-being, we had our own stand near to Helsinki Neuvoo to present our projects. It was a great afternoon and we are so glad to have been part of this event.
