Monaliiku's project Mentor on the Move awarded

Back in November, Kati and Nicole flew to Madrid (Spain) to represent Monaliiku in the X Forum of Inclusive Employment and Entrepreneurship. In this event, our Menor on the Move project was getting awarded with BEST PRACTICE IN INCLUSIVE EMPLOYMENT in the VI Call for good practices, organized by The European Network of Innovation for Inclusion.

The teams selecting the winners agreed that Mentor on the Move brings innovation and great impact on a very important social challenge: overcoming migrant women’s lack of social and professional networks in Finland. Kati Vertiö, the project coordinator, explained how the program works, and why it is so different from other mentoring initiatives.

In a few weeks, the finalists from the prize we won will visit our offices in Helsinki to learn more about our project and talk about how to stay connected and work together in different programs.
